No booze.
I could have done with a drink today, after driving home in the dark and wet. Christmas Day itself wasn't so bad, there was a lot of booze around, but family weren't "tying one on" with the intention of getting pissed; alcohol was a facilitator of a good time rather than the be all and end all. I had a couple of Moretti zeroes which are currently my favourite tipple.
But driving home in the dark is something I'm not particularly keen on at the best of times, and having to cope with intermittent drizzle as well was not a pleasant experience. I would have gone to the Co-Op and bought a beer, but luckily the wife had rescued some Heineken zeroes and so I had those (three) instead.
