Mornings & Days After

I normally feel jaded in the mornings; not hungover exactly, not nauseous or afflicted with a headache. I can get on with the daily routine - getting ready for work, getting to work, working. I don't know if that's because my body is saturated with alcohol: maybe I'm never fully sober? It is a chore though.

I'm not sure why I drink so much either: there are days when I'm at work or on the way home from work and I think 'I shan't drink tonight', but when I walk in through the door I am carrying alcohol of some description. We don't have wine or beer in the house, as I drink everything I buy. I can't open a bottle of wine and then leave it unfinished. We do have vodka & gin, as I don't touch those -normally. That way leads disaster and days off work in recovery.

Where to start?

I wanted as uncluttered a blog as possible, because this might get difficult. I don't know where I'm going with this, but I know there are some things I want to put on my other blog that I'm not comfortable with, which is why I'm starting this one. Not that anyone I know (friends or family) follow me, but in case anyone stumbles across my other blog(s), this will be completely separate.

So, to start as I will probably go on, tonight so far:

750ml Leffe @ 6.6% = 4.95 units

500ml Old Peculier @ 5.6% x 2 = 5.6 units

Total = 10.55 units

That's tonight's intake. I'm now thirsty for a vodka, but I'm going to forego that option. After all, 10.55 units is less than a bottle of cab sauv, so I should be better off than normal tomorrow morning. Trying to watch BBCQT, but distracted by this - so goodnight.
