A lot of booze - it was a wedding.
I had to retire to bed on Friday afternoon, I was suffering so much with a hangover. I was worried at one point that I was going to be sick. Over indulgence indeed. How did I manage to put up with that on a daily basis?

500ml Wells Banana Bread Beer @ 5.2% = 2.6 units
Total = 4.9 units
Well, there you go then. 124 days without a drink. The world didn't end, I didn't go loco and end up in Acapulco, I didn't wig out and felch a justice of the peace. We had guests and I figured I'd been dry long enough.
Our guest did leave the majority of a glass of wine; last year I would have necked that without thinking twice. Last night I thought about it a lot - but I left it.

I could have easily sunk a beer last night. The weather was perfect for it and it had been a busy day. A cool beer would have just topped things off. But I settled for a cup of tea instead.

That's 120 days now. I shall have to start counting in months soon. Except we're now into the danger zone, where u think I've got it licked and start drinking again. Then I revert back to a bottle of wine a day and I get tired and moody - moreso than I am now.
