Back on an even keel, I think. The impotent rage has subsided again for a short time. I'm sure it will be back.
Antiques Roadshow was on, back for a 36th series apparently. That was calming, although AR really belongs in the Autumn.

I so easily could have had a drink last night. But again I didn't. I wonder if it's cyclical? I'll have to watch that.

No booze.
Went out after work for drinks. Had a couple of soft drinks, a lemonade and a coke, and then left. I was quite thirsty, I could have done with a lager really. But I didn't, so it was all good I suppose.

No booze.
It's strange; although I'm full of cold and probably would be less likely to drink anyway, I was sitting catching up on the last series of True Blood, and thinking about drinking. But I wasn't wanting alcohol, it was like I was a separate person observing myself and noticing that there was a lack of alcohol. It was like playing 'spot the difference' with myself from three months ago, and circling the missing wine glass. So I was thinking about booze but not wanting it. A bit weird.
But at least I got to remember what happened in the plot, and didn't spend £14 on wine. And Lafayette's outfit for Terry's funeral was a sight to behold...

...and that makes it 60 days, I believe - 31 days in Jan, 28 days in Feb, and the first day of March.
And relatively straightforward. I still think about alcohol a lot of the time, but I smelled some port on Friday night and it was hideous. I've never really been a port man, though, so maybe that's unsurprising...

No booze.
... and that makes it two months. Attended a lovely dinner party with some good friends and didn't feel uncomfortable at all about not drinking. They all got tipsy and later conversations were a bit one-sided - those who were drunk really wanted to talk :) but I was relaxed they were relaxed and I think it was a great success.
